Michael Collins (1890 – 1922). First Minister for Finance in the Aireacht (cabinet) of Dáil Éireann having been elected Teachta Dála (TD) for Cork South. In the leadership of the Army of the Irish Republic holding the portfolios of Director of Organisation (Pearse’s old post), and later Director of Intelligence, and later still adding Arms Procurement to the portfolio of Organisation (with the rank of Adjutant General). President of the Supreme Council of the Irish Republican Brotherhood from November 1920. Ultimately Irish peace-talks delegation that led to the Anglo-Irish Treaty. In time Chairman of the Provisional Government of Saorstát and Commander-in-chief of the National Army of Ireland
